A resting Ornitholestes hermani. This little animal from the Morison Formation of western North America is interesting for several reasons, not the least of which is its highly bird-like appearance. There is some debate, however, where this animal should be place. Hopefully, new discoveries will help strengthen our understanding of this creature.
