Poebrotherium

Poebrotherium, which means "grass-eating beast" was a relatively common member of the Eocene-Oligocene White River fauna. While only about the size of a sheep, Poebrotherium was actually the most primitive member of the clade Camelidae, and as such shares several characteristics with modern camels, llamas, and their relatives. In life, it probably resembled an Alpaca.
Interestingly enough, despite the name, Poebrotherium was probably a browser, eating primarily leaves and fruiting plants. It also appears to have been a popular prey item for large entelodonts, such as Archaeotherium, sometimes referred to as "killer pigs".
