Black Cat Strips
After three months of essentially nothing happening, Black Cat is back under the knife. The teardown is complete, or as near-to as I care to go. Transmission is good, so I'm not going to mess around inside there, just clean up the outside. Same with the hydraulic unit. Sooo, where does that leave me and Black Cat?
Stripping paint, that's where. I've already got the hood, final drives, and transmission mostly stripped, and the doglegs, right axle housing, and air cleaner stripped and I've started to prime. The engine is ready to be rebuilt completely now, I'm just waiting until I've got the rear end put back together and have the front end ready to bolt on, so we won't need a stand. Yee-ha! I'm happy to be getting back at it!
The hood in the mess of my garage.
The final drive oil pans, doglegs, air cleaner, and right axle housing after one thin coat of primer.

A special thanks to Jim and Judy Kitson, Gene Tucker, "Pops", and all the excellent folks at the Farmall Cub Message Board! It would still be frozen up in my garage if it wasn't for all you guys and gals!
