Black Cat Strips

Back to the grindstone. My hands are numb from all the sanding, grinding, and needle-scaling I've done this weekend. I set an ambitious goal of having the rear end ready to reassemble by the end of the weekend, minus primer, seals, and gaskets. I've got paint dust all over myself, but I managed to do it. I even got a few coats of primer shot on some stuff!

Cleaned and primered parts.

The torque tube after primering.
So hopefully I'll have the seals and gaskets by next weekend, and Black Cat'll be standing on two wheels again!

A special thanks to Jim and Judy Kitson, Gene Tucker, "Pops", and all the excellent folks at the Farmall Cub Message Board! It would still be frozen up in my garage if it wasn't for all you guys and gals!
